Zam was a close family friend of both Boba and Jango. Sadly, Boba would have to learn early on about losing loved ones when Zam was killed while on a secret mission with Jango in Coruscant. Unknown to Boba though, was the fact that it was his own father who was responsible for killing Zam after she almost leaked out information to Obi-Wan Kenobi and his padawan Anakin Skywalker on who was trying to assassinate Senator Padme' Amidala.
