Attack of the Clones marked the first time Fett was used in the spotlight to promote a Star Wars film directly. Since these Clones were derived in the storyline from Fett, you could consider the film "Attack of the Fetts" for all non-geek purposes.

With Fett as a cultural icon, Lucasfilm made sure to approve a "Jango Fett spot" for television, coining Fett as a ruthless bounty hunter, yet showing the ad like they had for all main characters in Episode I and II. Around the world, bus stops and buildings were seen with massive Jango Fett imagery for the film, along with other methods of marketing from the collectibles. Even the Official Star Wars web site included a design featuring Jango during the months before and after its premiere.

Although Fett, both father and son, have more screen-time in Clones than Boba Fett did in the original trilogy and special editions, his significance in turning the plot remained the same. This landed him a spot in every trailer made for Clones that was seen in theaters and online.
